Luke Calhoun is an Assistant District Attorney with the Collin County District Attorney’s Office. As a Chief Misdemeanor Prosecutor, Luke is responsible for managing a large docket of criminal cases and frequently represents the citizens of Collin County in jury trials against defendants charged with various violent and non-violent criminal offenses.
Luke graduated from Texas Tech University School of Law in 2014. In law school, Luke was heavily involved in the oral advocacy program, which helped him develop the trial skills necessary to effectively represent the State of Texas in criminal trials in the years to come. Luke began his career at a boutique Dallas firm representing plaintiffs in product liability/catastrophic personal injury cases against automotive manufacturers. In 2015, Luke joined the Collin County District Attorney’s Office and became a resident of Collin County shortly thereafter. Luke’s practice is devoted to the effective, fair, and just prosecution of criminal cases in which justice, not convictions, is always the number one priority.
